Subscribe on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open VirtualRide. On the Ride screen, tap Subscribe. If you already have an account, tap Sign in next to Subscribe.
  2. The paywall shows VirtualRide Monthly, 1 month, and the price. Tap Subscribe. Apple shows the same subscription.
  3. Confirm. Apple billing starts at confirmation.
  4. On the next screen, enter your email and a password (8+ characters), then tap Finish account. If you already have an account, switch to Sign in.

Product: VirtualRide Monthly. Length: 1 month. Price: USD $9.99 or your local Apple price. Auto-renews until you cancel. It unlocks rides with your own Bluetooth smart trainer. Demo rides with a simulated trainer are free.

Restore or cancel

Tap Restore purchases on the Subscribe screen if you already have a subscription on this Apple ID. It brings back access. It does not cancel or change billing. Cancel or change the plan in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or tap Manage subscription in the app.

Delete your account

Log in, then tap Delete account on the Ride screen and confirm your password. Deleting the account does not cancel Apple billing. Cancel that in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Website members: cancel or manage your subscription

Website members log in with the email and password used on the website. Logging in is free and does not start a new subscription. Apple billing is separate.

Cancel subscription

  1. Open virtualride.app/cancel.
  2. Log in with your email and password.
  3. The billing page (Stripe) opens on Cancel subscription. Confirm there.

Cancel during the 7-day free trial and you are not charged. After you cancel a paid month, you keep access until the end of that month and are not charged again. We email you 3 days before a free trial ends. After you log in, Manage subscription on the Ride screen opens the same billing page (card, invoices, cancel).

Forgot your password? Reset it. Still stuck? Email hello@virtualride.app from the address you signed up with and we cancel it for you. Refunds: see the Refund Policy.

Bluetooth trainer

Use a Wahoo KICKR or another FTMS / cycling-power trainer. iPhone and iPad connect over Bluetooth. If you have no trainer, tap Demo to preview a route. See supported trainers.

Street View

Imagery comes from Google. Some roads have no coverage. Power, cadence, and speed stay on your device; we do not store a ride recording.

3D view (beta)

In the browser, the Ride screen can offer 3D beta next to Street View. It rides the same route through Google’s photorealistic 3D map. Drag to look around; Reset view, a double-click or R brings the camera back. Street View stays the default, and your choice is remembered. The 3D choice only appears when your browser supports it. If 3D does not load or runs too slowly, the ride continues in Street View.
