These terms govern use of VirtualRide, a browser service that plays Google Street View along cycling routes while a Bluetooth indoor trainer reports speed. By creating an account or paying, you agree to these terms.
VirtualRide is for indoor training. It does not control your trainer’s resistance unless your device already does so. Street View images are provided by Google under Google’s terms. Coverage, camera heading, and image quality vary by road. We do not host Street View imagery on our servers.
Access is limited to paying subscribers. The current price is USD $9 per month, billed by Stripe until you cancel. You must be at least 18. Keep your password secret. You are responsible for the trainer, bicycle, and room you use.
Do not abuse Google Maps APIs, scrape imagery, share one login across a gym without a commercial deal, or try to break the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Indoor cycling can cause injury. Use a trainer the manufacturer approves, a secure bike, and a clear space. VirtualRide is not a medical device. Chrome with Web Bluetooth is required for a real trainer; iPhone Safari is not supported.
Payments run on Stripe. Maps and Street View run on Google Maps Platform. Their terms apply in addition to these.
We aim for uptime but do not guarantee it. We may change routes, features, or price with notice to the email on your account. Material price changes apply from the next renewal.
The service is provided as is. To the extent Finnish law allows, we are not liable for lost training, hardware damage, or indirect loss. Mandatory consumer rights in your country still apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without limiting rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
